Walisongo’s Concept of Religious Moderation in the History of Islamization of Java in the 15th Century AD

<span lang="EN-US">This research offers a review of the concept Walisongo's religious moderation. As for mapping moderation in Walisongo comprehensively, four indicators Ministry Religion Republic Indonesia are used as an analytical tool, including national commitment, tolerance, anti-violence, and accommodativeness to local culture. This is descriptive qualitative using historical method. Meanwhile, primary data sources were obtained from book "Atlas Walisongo", secondary several other supporting kinds literature. The results this study show that terms indicators, namely (1) commitment includes pledge loyalty Majapahit stipulation Kutara Manawa Dharmashastra law constitution Demak. (2) Tolerance equality Nawa Dewata's Hinduistic cosmology with Sufistic respect values </span><span lang="EN-US">of beliefs. (3) Anti-violence expanding influence Islam through family ties community leaders nobles applying da'wah based on humanism. (4) Accommodation culture Islamization Hindu-Buddhist Kapitayan harmonizing Islamic lang="EN-US">with traditions, Kapitayan, Bhairawa Tantra.</span>
